ERT: Energy Reduction Technology
Most helmets are built for Olympic rare crashes and do little for the smaller knocks. Woolf goes further. ERT is a patented layer of soft, advanced polymer pads that manage both rotational and linear impact energy. Ordinary EPS foam stays rigid and kicks in above a certain force, but ERT responds instantly, even at the low-speed impacts that cause most concussions. Studies suggest around 80% of crashes fall into this lower range, exactly where standard protection does the least. Softer is smarter.
