AUTOMATIC SAFETY

AUTOMATIC BRAKE LIGHT

The rear LED strip lights up bright the instant the motion sensor detects you slowing. No buttons, no switches, no hand signals. Every driver behind you sees exactly when you're braking, every time.

Fires on its own. The helmet detects when you're braking and lights up instantly, with no input from you.
Impossible to miss. A high-intensity flashing LED array that stays clearly visible in daylight.
A signal drivers already know. It gives the car behind the one cue every driver reads instinctively, that you're slowing down.

SMART SIGNALLING

HANDS-FREE TURN SIGNALS

Tilt your head left or right and the front and rear lights on that side start blinking as indicators. Your hands stay on the bars, and your intentions are clear to every vehicle around you.

Senses a tilt of your head. No buttons, no hand signals, just lean your head the way you're heading.
Front and rear in sync. Drivers ahead and behind get the same clear signal.
Cancels itself. The lights switch off automatically after a preset time.
Optional handlebar switch:

Prefer a switch? A handlebar-mounted control signals exactly the same way without any head movement, available separately as an add-on.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

CRASH DETECTION & SOS ALERT

If the helmet detects an impact that looks like a crash, an app adjustable countdown, 30-seconds by default, starts on your paired phone. If you don't cancel it, the Woolf app sends your live location to the emergency contacts you've chosen.

Help is on its way even when you can't make the call yourself.

Detects a crash on its own. The helmet recognises the kind of impact a collision causes, with nothing for you to switch on.
Alerts the people you choose. Your details go straight to the emergency contacts you've set up in advance.
Pinpoints where you are. Real-time GPS and what3words address so they know exactly where to find you.
App Adjustable Cancel Window.

Gives you time to dismiss false alarms without ever slowing down emergency response when it truly matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Woolf Helmet

Yes. The Woolf helmet is built for everyday urban riding, including wet weather, and the electronics are sealed to an IP65 rating against rain and splashes. It's designed to shrug off a normal downpour, though like any helmet it isn't made to be submerged, so we wouldn't recommend leaving it sitting in water.

A full charge gives you up to 16 hours of use from the 500mAh battery. Recharging is simple: plug a USB-C cable into the port under the rear light, and a full charge takes about 2 hours. You'll get a low-battery warning in the Woolf app well before it runs down, so you're never caught out.

The Woolf helmet features a patented hinge system that allows the helmet to fold to about a third of its original volume.

Yes. The Woolf helmet is engineered to meet the same CPSC and EN1078 standards as any certified helmet on the market, and we won't put it on sale until it has passed both in full. In fact, we'd argue it's safer than a regular helmet as you'll actually have it with you when you need it!
